Senior Construction Inspector Speaks at

Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association Event

Paul Coleman, a senior construction inspector with the Planning, Zoning, & Building Department's (PZB) Building Division was one of the featured speakers at the January 25, 2024 meeting of the Roofing & Sheet Metal Contractors Association of Palm Beach County in Palm Beach Gardens.

The professional trade organization's agenda included numerous topics such as the new changes to the 2023 Florida Building Code effective on December 31, 2023.   Coleman spoke about the changes in inspection requirements for residential reroofing permits and provided attendees with an opportunity to ask questions. 

Other attendees included members of the Building Officials Association of Palm Beach County and representatives from local municipalities including Wellington, Riviera Beach and Jupiter.
