On September 7, 2023, Planning Director Kevin Fischer spoke to members of the Palm Beach County Voting Rights Coalition which is sponsored by the League of Women Voters, the ACLU of Florida and the National Council of Jewish Women. The discussion focused on the 2021 county commission redistricting which was based on the 2020 Census results. Kevin provided an overview of the process including details pertaining to the timeline, procedure and public hearing process that took place based on the data produced by the census.
