On August 16, 2023, Planning Division Director Kevin Fischer was invited to speak to members of the North Palm Beach Men's Shed to provide an overview of the 2020 U.S. Census data. Kevin highlighted the census process and results while providing details on the resulting redistricting which was implemented based on population changes countywide.
Kevin was joined by Lisa De La Rionda, Director of Public Affairs who provided a general overview of the county's operations including information on the budget and AAA bond rating.
The North Palm Beach Shed is a group of retired local civic-minded businessmen who meet regularly and host speakers on various topics of interest.
