​Building Division staff recently attended the Building Officials Association of Florida Annual Conference in Orlando which also featured representatives from the International Code Council and other building safety industry stakeholders.

The annual conference provides informative presentations, panel discussions and training for building code compliance professionals including frontline inspectors, plans examiners, permit technicians and building officials.  Attendees represented a wide range of organizations including municipal, county and other government agencies, private providers, and commercial vendors.

The county was well represented including representatives from Wellington, Westlake, Jupiter, Palm Springs, Riviera Beach, and West Palm Beach.

The Palm Beach County Building Division is committed to ensuring life and property safety within our community in the built environment through efficient and effective administration of the enacted building codes, and by taking a leadership role in code development and education.​
