​The Planning, Zoning and Building Department's (PZB) Building Division held its semi-annual Employee Appreciation event on June 28, 2024.   The event debuted the “Most Valuable Player" (MVP) award recognizing employees for their outstanding job performance.  The winners were selected by their fellow employees in the following categories: Supervisor, Plans Specialist, Plans Reviewer, Inspector and Administrative Tech/ Administrative Assistant. 

PZB Executive Director Whitney Carroll and Deputy Executive Director Cindy Hoskin provided opening remarks along with Building Official Doug Wise thanking everyone for their hard work and commitment to PZB.  

The MVP winners were:  Construction Plans Examiner Jere Leffler, Administrative Technician III Kerry Drewski, Plans Specialist Jazmine Howzell, Permit Coordinator Karean Dwyer, Administrative Assistant III Michelle Carter, Assistant Deputy of Plan Review Michael Shubert and Senior Construction Inspector Paul Coleman.
