On Wednesday, September 10, the Palm Beach County (PBC) Building Division management team met with staff from the City of Port St. Lucie Building Department to gain valuable insight into achieving International Accreditation Service (IAS) accreditation.

The PBC Building Division is actively working toward IAS accreditation, aiming to reach this milestone within the next year. Port St. Lucie staff shared their experience with the process, offering practical guidance on meeting requirements, overcoming challenges, and streamlining compliance.

IAS is a leader in the accreditation field, recognized for setting high standards of quality, transparency, and customer service. Accreditation demonstrates a department’s commitment to excellence while strengthening public trust in the permitting and inspection process.
