WE, THE PERSONNEL, of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, are committed to assuring the residents, guests, and visitors in our community a secure and superior quality of life. History

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue was created on October 1, 1984, when the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners passed a resolution consolidating the existing fire districts in Palm Beach County. Prior to 1984 the following fire districts were in existence:

  • Jupiter Fire Control District
  • ​Old Dixie Fire Control District
  • Juno Fire Control District
  • Military Park Fire Control District
  • Southwest Fire Control District
  • Trail Park Fire Control District
  • Reservation Fire Control District
  • Del-Trail Fire Control District
  • Canal Point Fire Control District
  • Northwest Fire Control Distric​t
