The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department and Oldies 95.3/96.9FM, South Florida’s Good Time Oldies present the 14th Annual 4th of July Celebration. Celebrating 50 years of Parks & Recreation, this FREE event will include a fireworks display, live concert featuring Journey tribute band Odyssey Road, a kids fun zone and more! Concessions will be available for purchase on-site. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. In collaboration with the West Boca Community Council.​

GENERAL RULES
• Event will take place rain or shine.
• For your safety and the safety of others, guests and their possessions are subject to inspection as condition of admittance. Please have your bags open and available for inspection.
• NO Drones / Unmanned Aircraft Systems and/or Vehicles.
• Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
• ONLY service animals are allowed INSIDE the amphitheater gates.

In the event of severe weather, a notification to evacuate is given by amphitheater staff, please calmly evacuate the concert grounds and seek shelter in an area of refuge or your vehicle. If the weather clears and it is possible to resume the event, you’ll be permitted to re-enter the amphitheater grounds.

How much are tickets: 
The event is FREE!

What is happening at the event? 
Interactive fun zone and activation areas for the whole family. Live music begins at 7:00 pm with Journey tribute band Odyssey Road, followed shortly by the fireworks display. Parks & Recreation, as a department of Palm Beach County is celebrating its 50th Anniversary!
  
Where are the fireworks shot?
Sunset Lake, which is located right next to Sunset Cove Amphitheater in Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park. 

Will Sunset Lake be open?
Sunset Lake will be closed to the public at 3:00 pm in preparation for the fireworks. 

Can I bring coolers or picnic baskets? 
Food and beverage will be available onsite. Patrons are encouraged to enjoy the delicious offering of the onsite concessions and vendors. Coolers and picnic baskets are allowed. No glass bottles. 

Where can I park?
Access to Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park common areas will be open during normal park operating times for patrons who arrive early. Sunset Cove Amphitheater overflow parking lot gates will open at 5:30 pm. 

What time do streets close? 
Regional Park Dr. will be partially closed to incoming park traffic at 8:30 pm from Glades Rd. to Park Access Rd. through the conclusion of the fireworks display at  9:15 pm.

Will restrooms be available? 
Park public restrooms will remain open during normal park operating times & throughout the event.  

Where are the trash receptacles? 
Please do your part to reduce your footprint and keep the park clean by removing all trash you bring into the park with you as you leave. Garbage and recycling receptacles are also available throughout the park.

Can I bring a tent or canopy? 
Use of canopies is permitted. Use of weights is encouraged. Staking is not allowed. No canopies or tents are permitted inside the amphitheater gates.

Can I bring a barbeque grill? 
Barbeque grills have been provided in the park; additional grills are not permitted. Patrons are encouraged to bring picnic baskets.

Can I bring alcohol to the event? 
Consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted in designated picnic areas only.

Can I bring my pet? 
Domesticated animals are allowed on park property. Said animals must be restrained at all times at a distance not greater than six feet in length from their handler. However, inside the amphitheater gates, ONLY service animals are permitted. 

Can I bring fireworks? 
No firecrackers, torpedoes, rockets, or other fireworks or explosives of flammable material on park property.

Can I fly a Drone at the event? 
Drones are not permitted at this event.

What if it rains? 
This event is “rain or shine” event. In the event of inclement weather, staff may make a decision onsite to initiate the fireworks display earlier or later to adjust to intermittent weather. Notifications will be sent out via Sunset Cove Amphitheater Facebook page.

BE PREPARED Bring water, food, sun tan lotion, bug spray and any other items you may need while onsite for the duration of the event.
