All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated. Please register online at www.pbcparks.com; under “Online Services” click on Register/Pay for Program, or visit the nature center to register and make payment. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program. Activities promote environmental awareness, conservation, recreation, and educate on health and wellness in the community.

ANIMAL FEEDINGS & TALKS
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 2:45 p.m.
Saturdays, 1:00 p.m.
All ages, FREE (Reservations not required)
During feeding time, listen to a short talk about one of Daggerwing’s resident animals.

All ABOUT AMPHIBIANS 
Friday, August 2, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 5+, $5/participant (Reservations required)
Amphibians are amazing! Learn about different types of amphibians, including frogs and toads, and find out why they are so important to the ecosystem. You’ll even get to meet some live residents here in Florida! 

MOTHER NATURE & ME: BIG OCEAN ANIMALS
Tuesday, August 6, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)
Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers!
 
DIPNETTING
Friday, August 9, 9:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Find out what creatures naturally live in the water of a wetland! Learn how to collect small pond animals and then observe and identify your findings. Please bring water, sun protection, and closed-toe shoes that can get wet/muddy.
 
NATURALIST LED BOARDWALK TOUR
Saturday, August 10, 9:30 a.m. 
All ages, FREE (Sign up at front desk)
Join a naturalist led tour of our boardwalk! Space is limited, sign-in at front desk required.

INTRO TO ARCHERY
Saturday, August 17, 9:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join USA Archery certified staff and learn about the exciting sport of archery. This program teaches archery safety, skills, and proper use of a bow and arrow before practicing on the range. Equipment is provided. Note: Bows may be difficult to pull for smaller children.

FLORIDA ANIMALS: MAMMALS
Saturday, August 24, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 5+, $5/participant (Reservations required)
Join a naturalist to learn about our native south Florida mammals! Participants will have an opportunity to see and touch biofacts from some common mammals we can find here in the park or our own backyard!
