VOLUNTEER EVENT - Trash Removal and watching the last sunset of 2021

Where: Winding Waters Natural Area - located south of Dyer Park - 7301 Haverhill Road, West Palm Beach (NOTE: this is the address of Dyer Park – follow directions below to get to Winding Waters Natural Area)

When: Friday, December 31, 2021

Time: 2 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. (cleanup from 2 to 5 pm ~ toasting the sunset from 5 to 5:45 pm)

Directions: From I-95 exit at 45th Street - head west to Haverhill Road - turn right and head north on Haverhill Road for roughly 2 miles to Dyer Blvd. – turn left and enter the south Dyer Park gates – parking lot entrance is on the left.

Additional Information: We will be cleaning along the Dyer Blvd. and Haverhill Road fence lines. Volunteers should wear clothing they don’t mind getting dirty or muddy. Restroom facilities are available at Dyer Park. The Department will supply tools, gloves and refreshments. Event participation is limited to the first 12 volunteers who register.

Register: Volunteers 15 and under must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Our COVID-19 restrictions have been updated. Fully vaccinated volunteers do not need to wear a mask. Those not fully vaccinated are asked to wear a mask when 6 feet of distance can’t be maintained. Volunteers can register for an ERM event by calling 561-233-2426 or emailing amathews@pbcgov.org.
