Description | What: Remove trash and vines and restore scrub habitat by removing chopped vegetation

Time: 9 a.m. to noon
Directions: From I-95 exit at Hypoluxo Road - head west to High Ridge Road - turn left and head south on High Ridge Road for roughly one mile - the natural area entrance is located on the east side of High Ridge Road.
Additional Information: Volunteers should wear old clothes and shoes as we will be working in brush-filled areas. Long pants are recommended as we will be working in saw palmettos and tall grassy areas. Hats and sunscreen are recommended. Restroom facilities are not available at the site. The Department will supply tools, gloves, and refreshments. Event participation is limited to the first 10 volunteers who register.
Registration: The volunteer projects are designed for volunteers ages 16 and older. Volunteers 15 and under must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
