Palm Beach County/UF–IFAS Extension offers nutrition education to groups of ALL ages. Nutrition education is delivered at your location by trained educators.
The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP)
The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) offers a series of FREE nutrition education classes.
The USDA Expanded Food and Nutrition Program offers adult nutrition education to limited income families with children birth to 18. A series of 8 lessons includes a comprehensive diet evaluation using a pre and post 24-hour food recall. The program aims to help participants:
- improve their nutrition practices
- manage their food resources
- improve their dietary intake
- practice safe food handling
