Florida 4-H Legislature provides an opportunity for teen 4-H members to have a “learn by doing" experience in state government each summer. During this event, 4-H'ers will serve as Florida 4-H senators, representatives, lobbyists, media correspondents, Lt. Governor or Governor in a “mock" style experience. 4-H participants will get to experience what it takes for laws to be considered and passed or vetoed in a model legislative. The purpose of Florida 4-H Legislature is to provide an experience that prepares 4-H members for leadership in the American democratic process. Each participant learns, practices and defends the theory and process of representing citizens and making public policy. This year, due to Covid-19 restrictions, 4-H Legislator will be a hybrid event (virtual & in-person). LEG will start virtually from June 22nd till the 23rd, and then on the following Saturday June 26th youth will meet in person to debate and vote on bills. To learn more and register, please visit:

Once again, Florida 4-H brings you 4-H Adventures – a virtual summer program that will navigate through healthy living, leadership and science based programs. Get ready to find an array of fun and educational adventures along with course descriptions and dates. Each 4-H Adventure has been designed by 4-H agents and specialists from around the state. This year's adventures consist of 8 virtual camps. Some involve regular scheduled meetings while others can be completed at the participant's own pace. Once you are enrolled in 4-H, most 4-H Adventures are free of charge and only require an internet connection and a connected device. Youth ages 5 to 18 may participate, though some Adventures are only open to specific age groups. To learn about this summer's adventures and register, please visit:
Florida 4-H University is an event for senior 4-H youth (4-H age 14-18) and will be held in-person at the University of Florida, Camp Cloverleaf, and Camp Timpoochee as well as virtually this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in educational workshops, explore career opportunities, lead community service activities, interact with youth from all over the state, and have fun while developing critical life skills that will help them become productive and engaged citizens of the communities, their country, and their world.

New 4-H Summer Camps!
We are very excited to announce that we are able to host in-person summer camps this year! We miss seeing everyone and are so excited.
While we still have some COVID limitations (masks and smaller numbers), but we are slowly getting a bit back to normal and we can't wait to spend part of our summer with you all.
This summer we will be offering four camp options. Each camp is 2 days and runs from 8am to 1pm. Youth can register for any or all of the camps but space is limited to 10 youth so register right away if you are interested. All camp registrations must be completed via 4-H Online 2.0 (https://v2.4honline.com/) and registration will open on Saturday, May 1, 2021.
