N​OTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY

Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Development (HED) announces the availability of SHIP Foreclosure Prevention funds and Round 3 of its Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus funds (CDBG-CV) Program funding.  Applications will be available online on the following dates by visiting the website below.  Applications will be accepted on a first submitted, first qualified, first served basis, subject to funding availability. 

SHIP Foreclosure Prevention Program - June 27, 2022 - until ALL funding is expended. Funding will be provided to assist with delinquent mortgage payments (PITI), up to three (3) months additional payments, property taxes, and homeowners insurance. Additionally, funding may assist with late fees, attorney's fees, homeowners' association payments, special assessments, other foreclosure associated costs, and mortgage delinquency and default resolution counseling. Maximum Award Amount is up to $20,000. Assistance will be awarded as a deferred loan

CDBG-CV Mortgage Assistance Program – June 27, 2022 – until ALL funding is expended.  Funding will assist applicants, impacted by COVID19, with financial assistance to help with paying delinquent first mortgage, escrow payments (PITI), second mortgages, late fees, condominium and homeowners' association payments, special assessments, and other mortgage associated costs related to COVID-19.  Maximum Award: $20,000 (Up to six {6} months mortgage and HOA payments, but not to exceed $20,000.  Assistance will be awarded as a grant or forgivable loan.
