Summer Camp Scholarship Program Provider Directory Updates

Body

Palm Beach County Youth Services Department's Summer Camp Scholarship Program has updated its summer camp provider directory to reflect the 2020 summer camp changes associated with state, county, and CDC guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Contracted camps that will not be in operation during the summer months (June through August) have been removed from the directory. Summer camps continuing to operate may include in-person camps with additional safety protocols, virtual-only camps with daily education and recreation activities campers can utilize from home, and hybrid or combination camps that will offer a blend of both in-person and virtual camps.

Campers whose selected camp is either not operating or has adjusted its platform, may contact program coordinator Jacqueline Burke via email at YSD-Summercamp@pbcgov.org to change their assigned camp. Campers who will not attend camp in 2020 may also decline their scholarship without penalty or future impact.

With these changes to operation, some camps may not be starting June 1. Parents/guardians need to contact the camp directly to learn how they will operate.

To view the summer camp provider directory or for more information about the program, visit pbcgov.com/youthservices/Pages/Summer_Camp.aspx.
