What:  Trail Maintenance, Trash Removal, Invasive Plant Removal
 
Note About Time: Registration from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.  – Volunteers work from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
 
 
Directions: From I-95 exit at Indiantown Rd. (SR  706) – head east on Indiantown Rd. to U.S. Highway 1 – turn left and head north on U.S. Highway 1 to Beach Rd (707) – turn right on Beach Rd. and park in Lighthouse Park (located at 500 Captain Armours Way) – volunteers will then walk east on Beach Rd. for roughly 1/8 mile to the natural area entrance which is located on the north side of Beach Rd. - look for a white county vehicle to locate volunteer meeting area.

Additional Information:  Volunteers should wear long pants, t-shirts, sneakers or hiking boots. Volunteers should wear old clothes and shoes as we will be working in scrub lands. Restroom facilities are not available at the natural area, but are available at Lighthouse Park. The Department will supply tools, gloves, and refreshments for the volunteers.   Event participation is limited to the first 24 volunteers who register.
 
Registration:  The projects are designed for volunteers ages 16 and older. Volunteers 15 and under must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Volunteers can register for an ERM event by calling 561-233-2426 or emailing amathews@pbcgov.org
