SNEEK PEEK AT THE FIRST 2019 VOLUNTEER EVENT What: Planting mangroves at New Snook Island restoration area
Where: Bryant Park – Lake Worth
When: Thursday, January 3, 2019 Time: 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Directions: From I-95 exit at 10th Ave. N. – head east to Federal Highway (U.S. Highway 1) – turn right and head south to Lake Ave – turn left and head east – Bryant Park is on the right (S. Golfview Rd) just before the bridge – meet at the Bryant Park boat ramp. Additional Information: Volunteers will be transported by boat to the project area. Volunteers should be prepared for wet and muddy working conditions. Volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes – no sandals or flip flops allowed. Restroom facilities are available at Bryant Park. The Department will supply tools, gloves, and refreshments. Event participation is limited to the first 25 volunteers who register.
