What: Trash and Vegetation Debris Removal Directions: From I-95 exit at Indiantown Rd. (State Rd. 706) and head east to Island Way – turn left and head north on Island Way for roughly 2 miles – the west entrance to Jupiter Community Park will be on the right – follow signs to North Jupiter Flatwoods Natural Area entrance. Look for a white County truck to find designated meeting area.
Additional Information: Volunteers should wear long pants, t-shirts, boots or sneakers. We may be working in areas that have standing water – so volunteers should wear clothing they don’t mind getting wet or muddy. Poison ivy is found at this natural area. Restroom facilities are available at Jupiter Community Park. The Department will supply tools, gloves, and refreshments. Event participation is limited to the first 10 volunteers who register. Registration: The projects are designed for volunteers ages 16 and older. Volunteers 15 and under must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
