Master Gardener Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteers needed to help spruce up the grounds at Temple Beth Kodesh, a synagogue located near I-95 and Gateway Boulevard in Boynton Beach. The congregation's members are mostly elderly, there is no budget for landscaping services, and some areas of the property are badly overgrown. Master Gardener Karen Goldenberg tries hard, but the need far exceeds the efforts of one person. Help appreciated (with advance notice only) as follows:

Thursday morning, August 2, 2018 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.,

Sunday morning, August 19, 2018 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.,

Thursday morning, August 23, 2018 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m

Volunteers needed to trim or prune overgrown shrubs, pull weeds, remove dead plants, and generally clean up the exterior of the property.  Please bring garden tools—pruners, weeders, rakes, shovels, hedge trimmers, power saw, etc. Water and light snacks will be provided.  Contact Karen at 561-737-7333  or  to let her know which date(s) you can help, to get directions, or of you have any questions.
