Please be advised that the next Lettuce Advisory Committee Meeting will take place on October 3, 2018 at the Everglades Research and Education Center in Belle Glade.
The meeting is being sponsored by
Bayer Crop Science and will feature a review of their product portfolio. UF/IFAS EREC faculty will present on such topics as: the benefits of summer cover-cropping, lettuce downy mildew management, breeding for resistance to bacterial leaf spot of lettuce and preventing insects as foreign objects in harvested
lettuce.
This free event begins at noon and will conclude around 3pm.
FDACS RUP CEUs are being offered as well as CEUs for Certified Crop Advisors.
