​Palm Beach County's Department of Housing and Economic Development (DHED) solicited proposals from Community Housing Development Organization (CHDOs) or eligible CHDOs that applied and were certified by the County prior to the submittal deadline. The HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds are to provide financial assistance to CHDOs for the creation of affordable rental or homeownership housing through new construction or acquisition and/or rehabilitation of residential property. This RFP made available $2,454,364.67 for CHDO Program Activities and up to $484,355.48 for CHDO Operating Funds.  Full details were contained in the RFP Package.

A non-mandatory presubmittal workshop was held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11:00a.m. via the WebEx software platform – access information is provided in the RFP document.  The deadline for submittal of proposals in response to the RFP was March 27, 2024 at 4:00pm.

A  Selection Committee was conducted on April 16, 2024 to make funding recommendations for this RFP.  You can find the funding recommendation HERE.​  All recommendations for funding awards are subject to final approval by the Board of County Commissioners, tenatively scheduled for June 11, 2024.
